Modern online casinos have gradually reached a point where most of their games involve virtually no player influence – you’re either lucky or you’re not. In fact, many users see this as a major shortcoming: they agree that the rules can be extremely simple, so simple that they can be explained in literally a minute, but at the same time, the player must retain some influence over the game, rather than relying solely on a random number generator. This explains the widespread popularity of crash games: here, the winners are still determined by an algorithm, but the decision made by the user is also of huge importance. Against this backdrop, Chicken Road looks even more enticing: here, the time allotted for deciding on your next moves is in no way limited!
Chicken Road
What is Chicken Road?
In fact, Chicken Road isn’t just a single game, but an entire series of similar games, with little difference between them, as the developer, InOut Games, generally only modifies the interface. All titles in the series are turn-based crash games, also known as arcade games. In fact, the gameplay is based on avoiding a crash: you either collect your winnings after any successful move, or make another move to increase the potential payout – and in doing so, you risk losing.
From the above, it is already clear that Chicken Road has nothing in common with the slots featured in the Betwinner lobby: there are no reels, no symbols, and no combinations of them. There are no bonus rounds either, by the way – the game is entirely linear, as they say, neither left nor right.
How to play Chicken Road — interface and rules
In the original game, a chick crosses the road and must survive the journey. It’s not known in advance exactly when the bird will meet its end, but it’s understood that nothing will happen to it as long as it stays put. If you’ve already made at least one move, you can simply collect your winnings or take a risk and make another move. With every step, the multiplier increases, and the further you go, the faster it grows.
The game has four difficulty levels with different numbers of steps; the easier the level, the lower the risk with each step, but the slower the multiplier grows. Conversely, the harder the level, the greater the chance of losing even on the first move, but the potential winnings grow rapidly. The easy level is set by default, but you can easily change this in the settings before starting the next round.
If you haven’t played crash games before, please note: your objective is not necessarily to reach the end of the road (this is entirely beyond your control), but rather to cash out your winnings before the crash occurs. For this reason, Betwinner users usually opt for a middle-of-the-road strategy or one of the two extremes: cashing out even a small win without chasing something that isn’t guaranteed, or, conversely, a long-term plan where only truly large sums are withdrawn, covering numerous previous losses.
